Time Travel Series: #3 of 3

by Caroline McCarty

The third installment of a series of then and now photos, the “then” photographs, were taken between 1935-1944 by employees of the U.S. governement for the Farm Security Administration to document rural poverty in order to better educate the public and find methods of improvement. The “now” photographs were taken by Caroline McCarty in an effort to document change and development in those same areas.
