Crepuscular Navigation and Old Hardware

wolf sleeps

Echolocation
My voice ricochets in a cavernous mind
Like echolocation in a bat cave.
Its resonance absorbed by solitary ears
In a desert of darkness.

A loquacious, muddled reverie
Less perceptible than a bat’s ultrasonic cry.
Infinite, silent postulations
As unavailing as dandruff without a microscope.

Painting trails of a hyper-voice.
Jackson Pollack sonic-brushes and lasers
Splashing and blazing on canvas and ridges
Spitting wine
Stained voices
Nervous swashes of sounds
A plucking deficit of words.

echolocation

Digital Subversion
Toss me in the garbage with the computer -
Cords, wires, hard-drive, mind, veins.
Testicles, hair, keys, love, voice.
A ruinous, unclassified existence.
Irrelevant yet infamous.

Memory omission evades
Like scavenging camp mice.
Remembering desperately
Struggling to forget

You understand what’s important?
Trees, animals, civil rights, etc… right?
Confused by sin
Might all good deeds be accidental?

Fill me with knowledge
Discard me with deceit
I will fester under your trash
As subconscious bacteria,
Justifying digital subversion.
